The Global Executive MBA™ - GEMBA™ is a unique Credential, that is symbolic of Professional credentialing at graduate level.  

 

The GEMBA™ is a highly-compressed MBA program developed by a group of MBA lecturers, legal and finance professionals, senior executives and the Academy of Financial Management (GAFM)

 

It is a Level 7 Qualification for graduates with a combination of accredited certification and relevant experience. The GEMBA™ credential is offered in a wide range of Specialism including business administration, leadership, finance, management, HR, PM, strategic management, economics, marketing, procurement, risk management, audit, and related fields. 

 

The GEMBA™ with Specialism in HRM focusses candidates to think strategically about aspects of managing the organisation's human assets, and what needs to be done to implement strategies to achieve competitive advantage by aligning human capital with the development trajectory of the organisation.

 

Course description

The GEMBA™ is a Masters Certification or Nano-Qualification from the GAFM®, and is a copyrighted intellectual property by the IBS and GAFM® as a practical educational program that helps students develop specialized skills. The GEMBA™ can be acquire in a shorter period compared to traditional graduate degree options. 

 

As a Level 7 Qualification, the GEMBA™ falls in the category of Post Graduate or Masters Certifications that are more focused than regular certificate or degree programs. Learners can complete Nano-qualification courses and requirements through various accredited programs and platforms in contrast to being required to take the courses at one college, university or business school. 

 

This program offers a graduate credential and designation that is bestowed upon candidates who have met the accredited education

 

and experience requirements of the Board of Standards of the GAFM®.

Mode of delivery

ü  Evening online classes with lectures running from 5:30 – 8:30 pm, three days a week for the first 2 months of every quarter. 

ü  Flexible self-paced study options designed to fit your schedule, anywhere, anytime, anyhow.   

ü  Classroom/ Workshop format intended to condense the curriculum into 8-10 days of intensive instructor-led study, after which candidates can take additional time (not exceeding 12 months) to prepare and complete their online qualifying exams.

Assessment and Grading

Each course is assessed by a Final Online MCQ Exam undertaken remotely. Candidates must pass a total of six courses (4 core courses and 2 optional courses) within a period not exceeding 12 months.  Only successful candidates will be conferred the charter of the GLOBAL EXECUTIVE MBA of GAFM®.
